The Fern Creek United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) incorporates youths in grades 6 – 12. The program offers a wide opportunity for spiritual growth. Our students engage in mission trips, bible study, and worship.
We meet Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10:15 AM for small group opportunities. On Wednesday nights we may play games, go out to eat, have devotions, engage in various prayer exercises, or any number of things. On Sundays we are normally engaged in a Bible study series.
Throughout the year the youth plan numerous activities such as concerts, mission projects and social events like laser tag, roller skating, and visits to the park.
Would you like to be a part of this exciting ministry?!! You could serve as a chaperone during youth events; pray for our ministry, or support our efforts in other ways. If you are interested, please see a member of our youth ministry team: Darryl Glass, Katie and Josh Howard.
During this time Pastor Jim is completing a series of devotions for you and your families for this time that we are going through together. Please see these devotions in our Blog Post listing (same location as our weekly worship services). https://ferncreekumc.org/2020/03/25/casting-nets-a-devotion-during-the-time-of-the-covid-19-crisis/
