The Translate Button is designed for simplicity, ensuring a smooth experience for all users. It helps us unlock the potential to communicate in both of our congregational languages (English and Spanish), making our interactions more inclusive. Discovering the power of the Translate Button is easy! Look for the Orange and Blue Translate Icon in the upper right-hand corner of the FCUMC Website, click the flag of the language you wish to view, and experience the site in a whole new language.

The Translate Button is live and ready for you to explore. Start using it today!

We extend our sincere gratitude to our amazing church community for inspiring us to enhance our site experience for all of our members!

Dated events will drop off the day after the event, i.e. surgeries, doctor appointments, tests. We will drop and add other items to help shorten your Daily Broadcast as needed.

STREET REACH

Almost every day of the week there are Street Reach team members in the streets of Louisville supplying much needed items such as water, clothing, food and tents to our Homeless Community.

You can help by supplying water, batteries (all sizes), sternos, tents, gloves, $5 McDonald gift cards, socks, blankets, sleeping bags, hoodies, jeans. Drop items off in Darryl’s office or join the team in this vital outreach mission on Thursdays at 6 pm when the entire team heads out on the FCUMC bus.

Contact Rev. Darryl Glass about these outreach opportunities for the Homeless.

STREET REACH DONATIONS:

Please drop off ANY Street Reach donations outside the double doors by the entrance driveway (across from the church kitchen in Fellowship Hall) AND, it’s very important you call the church office & let us know you are doing so! Otherwise your donations may “walk away”!  Thank you.

Donate Now to some of Our Ministry Opportunities:

You may bring non-perishable food/snack items to stock the Baptist Health Palliative Care Pantry where families of palliative care patients may get something to eat while caring for loved ones, and Fern Creek/Highview United Ministries always needs non-perishable food items for the area ministry which assists our local community.  Donations to these groups may be placed in the black boxes under the coat rack in the Narthex.  You may recycle your aluminum cans and help the FC Women’s Club provide scholarships for FC High School students; place them in the small designated bin beside the garage.  Bring in shoes rubber-banded together and place them in the box outside room 113; WaterStep Shoes for Water sells the shoes and the funds are used to purchase well-drilling rigs, water filtration systems and supplies to bring clean water to those in need.
