Beth Lennan
Director of Children’s Ministries

Meet our Director of Children’s Ministries, Beth Lennan. Beth has a special place in her heart for Fern Creek United Methodist as she was raised in this church and is a testament of how the teachings and love she has received can impact ones life.  Because of her upbringing at FCUMC, she has a strong relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Beth previously served Fern Creek UMC as a Youth Minister.

Beth says she was once asked, “If you were a rain drop would you want to drop to the ground and disintegrate or would you want to make a splash?”  Her answer to that?  She wants to make a BIG splash! Everyone was born with a purpose and she believes her purpose is to show the love of Jesus Christ to our younger generation.

Beth believes we should teach our children not to “blend in.” We need to stand out and teach our children that it is okay to love God and be different.  Our church understands the importance of teaching children of all ages. They are experiencing all kinds of new things for the first time and they question everything. We play a vital role in answering those questions about God and we want to build a strong foundation for the rest of their lives.

Beth is married to Wesley and works full time at L&N Federal Credit Union as an employee trainer. She and Wes have two dogs, a beagle named Alex and a basset hound named Samson. Nicholas Sparks is her favorite author and she loves Mexican food and Disney movies. One thing Beth says might surprise people about her is that she is quite adventurous, having actually sky dived! When not working or at church, you’ll find Beth spending time with her family and friends – her favorite way to spend a weekend.

Beth’s hope is that you will bring your family to Fern Creek United Methodist and experience the love of God through our congregation.

Lamentations 3:22-23

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end.  They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
