Communication Mission Challenge 3 – Subscribe to the FCUMC YouTube Channel

Welcome to the latest FCUMC Communication Mission Challenge! If you’ve been completing these challenges, so far you have downloaded the new FCUMC app, and left a five-star rating and review on either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Today’s Communication Mission Challenge is another simple one–you’re going to subscribe to the the church’s YouTube channel. It should take no more than 2 minutes to complete.

How does this help Fern Creek UMC? Well first, it improves the connection and engagement with our church family. But beyond that, the more subscribers we have, the more exposure our videos will get in searches, so the more likely potential visitors are to find our content.

The first hurdle we’d really like to clear is to get to 100 subscribers. Once we do that, we will qualify for a custom URL for our YouTube channel. We’re already a little over halfway to this goal. You can get us over the hump!

To get started, just go to the Fern Creek United Methodist Church YouTube page:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP9eMqb1die7hhk5NwzxTvQ
(This ugly URL will be replaced with our nice custom URL when we get to 100 subscribers!)

First, just click on the big red “Subscribe” button. The screen will look a little different, depending on whether you are on a computer or phone, but the idea is the same. If you aren’t already logged in, you will need to log in with your Google account.

Once you have subscribed to the channel, you should also consider signing up for notifications by clicking on the “bell” logo. When you do this, you will get a notification whenever we upload a new video.

That’s it! If you’d like some extra credit, please ask your family and friends to subscribe.
