Communication Mission Challenge 2 – Rate and Review the FCUMC App

Greetings, FCUMC family!

This second Communication Mission Challenge builds on the first one. If you haven’t already installed the new FCUMC App on all your phones, tablets and Chromebooks, please go do that now. And remind all your family to do the same!

Now, in this second challenge, we are asking you to rate and review the app. Why do this? Quite simply, total numbers of downloads (the first challenge) and ratings and reviews (this challenge) help improve the visibility of our app when a potential visitor or prospective member searches the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Here are the simple steps. You should be able to complete this in 2-3 minutes. For extra credit, help your friends and family to complete this challenge as well!

For Android and ChromeOS Devices (Google Play Store)

Important note: if you are logged into a business or other organization’s account through Google G Suite (e.g., with an @ferncreekumc.org address), you are blocked from leaving ratings and reviews. You must be logged in through a personal account (e.g., with an @gmail.com address).

From Your Computer

Probably the easiest way to rate and review our app in the Google Play Store is from a computer.

Start by opening the Fern Creek UMC app listing in the Play Store.

Make sure you’re signed in from a personal account. If not, click on your picture at the upper right corner of the page and switch accounts.

Scroll down to the point where you see “Write a Review” on the right side of the screen:

Simply click on that button, then click on the fifth star to indicate your rating of 5 out of 5, and enter a brief review of what you like most about the app. Then submit it. That’s it!

From Your Android or Chromebook Device

You can also rate and review our app directly from your Android or ChromeOS device.

Again, start with this link to the Fern Creek UMC app listing in the Play Store. Or open the Play Store and search for “Fern Creek UMC” to find the listing.

Make sure you’re signed in from a personal account. If not, click on your picture at the upper right corner of the page and switch accounts.

Look for the five stars. Click on the fifth star to indicate your rating of 5 out of 5 for the app.

Then click on “Write a review” (just below the stars). Write a sentence or two regarding what you like most about the app. Then submit it. That’s it!

For iOS Devices (Apple App Store)

Directly from your iOS device (iPhone or iPad), simply click on this link to the Fern Creek UMC app in the App Store. Or open the App Store directly and search for “Fern Creek UMC” to find the listing.

Scroll down until you see the five stars. Click on the fifth star to indicate your rating of 5 out of 5 for the app.

Then click on “Write a Review” to enter a sentence or two regarding what you like most about the app. Then submit it. That’s it!
